Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded with her balance bar. This meant that she was the first American at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans who won back-toback golds at team events. In addition, she won two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. Between the two Olympics, she took a break. Additionally she was a part of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly is a member and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be published later in the year.
